| 54.  Power of central government to impose conditions, limitations and restrictions  on approvals, etc., given under the act.   (1)  The Central Government may, while -   (a)  according any approval, sanction, permission, confirmation or recognition, or   (b)  giving any direction or issuing any order, or   (c)  granting any exemption.   Under  this Act in relation to any matter, impose such conditions, limitations or  restrictions as it may think fit.   (2)  Omitted by the MRTP (Amendment) Act, 1991, section 24, w.e.f. 27-9-1991.   (3)  If any condition, limitation or restriction imposed by the Central Government  under sub-section (1) 1[ *  * * ] is contravened, the Central Government may rescind or withdraw  the approval, sanction, permission, confirmation, recognition, direction, order  or exemption made or granted by it.
